Born in Ottawa…Illinois.  Befriended by cheeseheads in Northern Wisconsin. Eagle-scouted. Educated at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Graduated in Web Development and Business Administration. Migrated to Milwaukee. Produced travel websites. Managed eCommerce department of petroleum industry B2B company. Managed SEO / SEM for progressive digital agency, Lightburn. Moved next door to become Senior Paid Search Specialist for 3-time INC 500 winning web development agency, Zeon Solutions. Migrated to Minneapolis to become Paid Search Marketing Lead for Best Buy. Kind of Tall.

About My Work

I’m a Search Marketing Specialist focused on Paid Search, but well-versed in all aspects of online marketing and eCommerce. PPC is my forte, but the following are included as part of my skill-set: PPC, SEO, email marketing, comparison shopping engines (CSE), affiliate marketing, basic UX, conversion optimization, eCommerce merchandising, basic eCommerce sourcing and distribution knowledge, and a strong opinion for design. Real-life, hands-on experience that has driven results for small, medium and global businesses.

I work for a leading web development company in Milwaukee, WI as Senior Search Marketing Specialist. It’s exciting to  work with some of the largest companies in the US and UK. Over the past few years of managing PPC accounts, I have spent millions of dollars of my clients’ money. The good thing about that is, I have made them multiples of that spend in revenue! High ROI is the key to PPC, and that is my main focus.

I would consider myself an advanced Google Analytics, AdWords, Yahoo! PPC and MSN Ad Center user. I stay away from the term “expert” because there’s always more to learn. However, writing a book on search marketing IS one of my future goals.

I am a qualified AdWords advertising and analytics professional by Google. Plus I have over 6 solid years of experience with many success stories. I’m passionate about eCommerce and all channels that lead to online sales, but my forte is PPC. If you Google ‘milwaukee seo‘, you can see I’m also not terrible at organic SEO. And that’s a running joke amongst the local SEM professionals.
